Cambobo is a free service for anyone who wants to sell and buy used books and textbooks. We have developed a service with simplicity and speed in mind to increase the user experience when searching and creating ads. If it's possible to improve the performance or the steps taken to use Cambobo we will!

• We do not require you to register or create a user account
• We try to load the book/textbook information automatically for you when creating an ad
• We have created functionality to easily find used textbook and book ads near your location
• We have created a simple yet powerful free text search
• We give the user the opportunity to preview and search inside selected books and textbooks
• We have created an Android™ and iPhone™ application as a smart extension and complement to the web site Cambobo

Short history

We (Andreas Eriksson and Georges Polyzois) started working on Cambobo 2009, as a way of testing new technologies and frameworks in IT-development. We decided to create an Internet service for used textbooks and books because we read lots of textbooks and books (especially computer science books).

After a while we felt that we could make the "used textbooks and books arena" a lot more attractive and user friendly than what we found on the Internet at that time. We started developing a service that we would ourself have appreciated when we where studying at the university, and a service we would like to use today with help from the possibilities of current technology.

In november 2010 the company Andreas & Georges AB (Corporate Identity Number 556828-2106) was founded and the Internet service for used textbooks and books called Cambobo was officially launched in February 2011!
